HARVEST FEST 2010!
AWF is gearing up for our annual Harvest Fest this October from the 1st to the 3rd, that's Friday through Sunday. This year Harvest Fest is in Active Worlds Universe on the new Harvest world! Thanks to PeLican3D for setting up our annual Harvest Fest event. We hope you enjoy your time with us and come back over and over again!
ALWAYS PRAISE THE LORD, ALWAYS! ALWAYS PRAISE THE LORD, ALWAYS! Those words should be at the tip of our tongues every moment of every day. PRAISE THE LORD! Every moment is precious to GOD and everyone of us is too. I am precious, you are precious. We are all precious in HIS sight! You can't look at all that HE has created without realizing how precious life is. ALWAYS PRAISE THE LORD, ALWAYS! We praise Him because He lives, in our hearts, in our life, in everything that breathes and in everything that does not. We praise Him because of the way He loves us, unconditionally! We praise Him because He gave us life, beauty and a reason to go on. We praise Him because of the bountiful needs that He meets, food, clothing, a roof, the rain for our crops, the wind to dry our hair, the earth to grow our sustinence.. Thank You LORD as we sew the seeds and Thank You LORD as we reap the Harvest! Without GOD what do we have? 'Without GOD there is no truth or meaning to life'. Truth is whatever we say it is, your truth, my truth, their truth.. "truth is in the eye of the beholder". PRAISE THE LORD for With GOD we have clear limitations, rules, answers to a chaotic world. With GOD we have goals, something to look forward to, a life we can be proud of, clear convictions and forgiveness of sins. With GOD we have Mercy and GRACE. Without GOD we have anarchy, anger, chaos, greed, lasiviousness, rebelliousness, the list goes on and on.. Without GOD we are lost.. our corrupt body will wither away and our soul will die a long lingering death. Hell will consume us and never reliquish its grip. With GOD we will see an end to suffering, no longer will we thirst or hunger, no longer will we long for a way out of our afflictions and circumstance. We will be FREE with HIM and in HIM. We will know the Joy of Heaven and the the Truth will never again be out of reach. The TRUTH is in our LORD JESUS CHRIST and we will be shouting PRAISE THE LORD, ALWAYS PRAISE HIS NAME! HIS NAME IS CHRIST JESUS! God's Will for your life.
PLANTING THE SEED OF LIFE
Witnessing is the most rewarding experience for a brother or sister in the Lord. Every few months I talk about it to the fellowship but I dont feel we do nearly enough witnessing. A dear friend of mine named James lives in mainland China with his wife Mary. They write Terri and I every month and tell us what is happening with them and their ministry. James and Mary went to China in the early 90's and brought their young children with them for a long term ministry assignment. Of course the Chinese government only allowed them to come because James applied to a university there to teach English, otherwise they would never have been able to minister there. the government banned missionaries in China a long time ago. A young Chinese student of James was allowed to attend a university here in the US. James and his family had known the young woman for over ten years and had taught her English himself. James and Mary had witnessed to her many times when she was in China but she had never accepted the Lord. After coming to the US the young woman visited James and his family who had come back to build up support so they could return to minister and teach in China and she went to church with them. The young woman heard a man testify how he had been saved and was so moved she asked the Lord to come into her life! James was so overwhelmed with Joy in his letter to me.... Its incredible how the seed you plant may not come to fruition for years and years till one day, the right words, the right person, the right time comes and up sprouts the fruit you sowed years earlier! lol Thats the kind of joy I want for all of you. To know that a seed you planted has come to fruition and grown to a beautiful and vital life for all to see. That life in turn can now spread the seed wherever they go and the world will see a wonderful landscape of life laid out before them. Let me tell you a lil bit more about James and Mary.. Their children have all grown up now and serve the Lord in several different ministries all over the world. Their witness is heard wherever they have set foot and gone on thru countless other changed lives. There model is Christ Jesus. Who is your model? Who witnessed to you and planted that seed in your life? Are you now doing the same? I pray that you are. God bless you and God bless the seeds you plant. Love, PastorBob

SCRIPTURE TO REMEMBER Philippians 2:3-8 Do nothing from factional motives [through contentiousness, strife, selfishness, or for unworthy ends] or prompted by conceit and empty arrogance. Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:] Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained, But stripped Himself [of all privileges and rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being. And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross!
